Some go further and include the option of a custom-made storage units. The desk can be moved between two units via wheels. There are also four drawers for storage, and two cupboards that are equipped with doors. The Eli F takes things to the next level by having doors that match your chosen foot and head boards.
The Luna low-line loft bed or midi-storage bed is compact, and includes everything you require. A ladder that is able to be rotated, a desk on wheels that slides in and out and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. Some midi loft beds that have storage come with the desk already in the bunk (as as shown in the picture above) Some, such as our Luna midi bunk have the ladder positioned on the right hand side so that the desk can be placed to the left (please inquire in the store, by phone or add this in the comments section while shopping in case this is important to you).
Most loft beds for midi require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm), with a wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds accept standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with the safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. Some models have a fantastic pull-out trundle drawer for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. They can be opened or fitted with a door (please check the product's details for more details).
Many midi cabins come with a desk which can be moved between the two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This gives the children their own space to store everything they own. It also means that they don't need to make use of floor space with bulky shelving or wardrobes.
Some models have gone a step further by having cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.
